Lex Luger’s journey from wheelchair to walking again is inspiring wrestling fans everywhere, thanks to a fellow legend’s commitment to help him regain mobility
Luger was a big deal in the 90s, known for his impressive physique and tough style. He faced over 2,100 opponents in his career. But in 2007, he had a serious neck injury that led to paralysis.
His health took a turn for the worse, and he became quadriplegic after a spinal stroke. Although he could stand briefly at times, he’s been fully wheelchair-bound for years.
Now, DDP believes he can help Luger walk again. He’s known for his unique yoga style, which has helped other wrestlers regain their mobility.
In a recent chat, DDP shared how Luger reached out after seeing a video of another wrestler, Butterbean, who benefited from DDP’s workouts. They’ve started working together, focusing on chair workouts and standing exercises.
DDP is optimistic. He mentioned that even if there’s a lot of nerve damage, he believes Luger can make progress. They’re planning to share videos soon to show Luger’s journey.
It’s an exciting time for wrestling fans, and we’re all rooting for Lex Luger’s comeback!
