A South Jersey teacher faces serious charges after allegedly having a child with her 13-year-old student, who begged his family not to report it.
Caron, 34, faces multiple charges, including aggravated sexual assault. The boy, who is now 13, begged his family not to tell the police. He even texted his sister about being the father of Caron’s five-year-old child.
The alleged incidents took place between 2016 and 2020 at Caron’s home. The boy was living with her when their child was born in 2019. Caron had been friends with the boy’s family and let the kids stay over often.
Things escalated when the boy started sleeping in the same bed as Caron at just 11 years old. His sister told police that Caron would lock the bathroom door when her brother was inside.
The school district acted quickly, placing Caron on paid leave as soon as they learned of the allegations. If anyone has more information, they’re encouraged to reach out to local authorities.
