London: For ages, people have been avoiding potatoes, thinking they’re unhealthy. But guess what? New studies show they’re actually a superfood!

Many Brits have been misled by low-carb diets, believing spuds are bad for them. Yet, nearly a third still enjoy potatoes three times a week.

Surprisingly, 47% of people think potatoes lead to weight gain. And over two-thirds of Gen Z don’t even know about their health perks! Potatoes are loaded with vitamins, minerals, and fiber that are great for your gut.

A recent poll found that 48% of Brits either rarely eat baked potatoes or skip them altogether, opting for fries instead. By doing this, they miss out on the nutrients found in the skin, like vitamin C and potassium.

Nanna Tate, a new potato brand, is on a mission to change this perception. They’ve teamed up with fitness instructor Alice Liveing to promote potatoes through fun fitness classes and delicious recipes.

Alice emphasizes that potatoes are vital for fueling our bodies, especially for those who are active. They provide energy, support muscle recovery, and keep us energized all day long.
