Ebou Adams remains optimistic despite Derby County’s recent losses, looking forward to their match against Sunderland.
Derby: Ebou Adams is feeling pretty chill about Derby County’s recent losing streak. He says he’s “not worried at all” about the team sliding down the Championship table.
They’ve lost four games in a row and are just one point above the relegation zone. But Adams believes the team is creating chances, which is a good sign.
They recently got knocked out of the FA Cup by Leyton Orient, but Adams insists the performances have been solid. He thinks if they can just finish their chances, things will turn around.
Adams mentioned that if they weren’t creating any good chances, he’d be worried. But since they are, he’s confident they’ll bounce back.
New striker Lars-Jorgen Salvesen might play against Sunderland. The coach, Paul Warne, decided to hold him back for the Watford game, just days after he joined from Viking FK.
Reflecting on the 2-0 loss to Watford, Adams felt the team played better than the score showed. They had some great chances, hitting the crossbar and the post multiple times.
He noted that if they can convert those chances, they could win comfortably. But, of course, Watford took their chances, which made it tough for Derby.
