Bristol: The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has put out a warning for dog owners. They’re concerned about some dog chews from China. These treats might be linked to serious behavior changes in dogs.

The EU has raised alarms about these products. They could be causing what’s known as ‘werewolf syndrome.’ This can lead to panic attacks, aggression, and even seizures. Yikes!

So far, there haven’t been any confirmed cases in the UK. But the FSA is being cautious. They want to make sure no one’s dog gets hurt. Tina Potter from the FSA said that while no unsafe products have been found, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

If you’ve bought these chews online, it’s best to stop giving them to your dog right away. If your pup seems unwell, get in touch with your vet. They’ll need to know what treats your dog has eaten.

These chews can last a long time, so you might have bought them months ago. Vets are on alert for any symptoms that could be linked to these treats.

Here’s a list of the chews to watch out for: Barkoo kaustange natur, Barkoo kauknochen, and Chrisco Tyggeruller, among others. If you see these, it’s best to toss them out. Better safe than sorry!
